You can learn how to use 2FA on Facebook.Two-step verification, also known as 2FA, requires a special code in addition to your regular password when you sign into the app.This code can be sent via text message or using an authenticator app.

Depending on the security method you choose, the final steps will be different.You can enter the code into the box when you receive it via text message.To confirm, tap last.If you're using the phone that the app is installed on, tap the long string of letters and numbers at the bottom of the screen to copy it to your clipboard, launch your app, and then add new accounts.If the app is on a different phone or tablet, open it to the new login screen, and then align the QR code to make the connection.
Step 10: Recovering codes need to be set up.
You have to have your phone with you in order to use two-factor authentication.What if you can't find your phone?To create a set of 10 login codes to use in emergency situations, follow these steps.You can tap and select.Go to > and verify your password.Put the codes in a safe place.
Step 11: Two-factor verification is required to sign into Facebook.
You can try to sign in with your regular password after securing your account with 2FA.Once it's accepted, enter the code from the Facebook message into the appropriate field to complete the sign-in.
Step 12: Go to Facebook in a web browser.
If you don't already have a Facebook account, sign in now.
Step 13: The settings and privacy menu can be opened.
You can find it by clicking the downward-pointing arrow at the top-right corner of Facebook.
Step 14: Go to the left panel and click security.
Step 15: Next to "Use two-factor authentication," scroll down and click.

Depending on the security method you choose, the final steps are a little different.When you get the text, enter the code into the blanks on Facebook and click to confirm.If you want to add a new login, you can open the app on your phone or tablet, find the option to do so, and then use the camera to take a picture.Follow the instructions on the screen.

When you sign in to Facebook, you'll need to have your phone and authenticator app with you.After entering your login name and password, open your authenticator app or text message to find the code, and then enter it into Facebook to confirm.
