"A-List is Here to Stay" is the title of the AMC's AList update.
If it weren't for the fact that the last few days have been absolutely exhausting and I just want to see it at home, I'd be all over it.
Does it benefit from the big screen or is it something you could watch at home?
Even though local guidelines allow them to be open all week, my local theaters are only open on the weekends. Is there an idea when they will expand their days open?
It's kind of redundant to review a film that many people saw over the weekend and have already commented on.I saw it in both versions, so I wanted to add my two cents.
I liked this film very much.I wanted big over the top roller coaster thrills.Like a pop song with a verse-chorus structure, we get a lot of people. And more.It was like a song with a great guitar solo outro. It's not a fancy film, but it delivered the goods.
IMAX 3D is my favorite format for a film outside of it.The presentation in DC was good. The big screen had a rich DC soundscape and the titans looked great on it.It was a good thing that my seat rumbled constantly.I liked the Real 3D presentation even better. The sound of the 3D version was great.More than adequate, but not up to DC standards.I was very impressed with the clarity and depth of the 3D presentation, even though the out-sized titans would seem to be a perfect fit for the taller DC screen. In the big fight scenes, the Real 3D was crisp and deep and added a layer of visual envelopment that was beyond the scope of the DC presentation.I give the nod to Real 3D.
I hope you liked it as much as I did.I will probably see G v K again in 3D.
