A quick guide to removing Polystyrene Ceiling tiles is included in the cost calculator.
I am in the process of purchasing a top-floor 1930s flat which is 88sq metres and the entire ceiling is covered in polystyrene ceiling tiles. This is a fire hazard and I want to have them removed as soon as possible.I think the ceiling will need to be re-plastered.Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks to you.

If the ceiling is sound, it should be ok.If you want to get rid of the tiles, you need to use a lot of boiling hot water on the tile glue blobs, soaking them, and then start to peel them off.
