2XU products have been very durable for me - they wear well and wash up well. I highly recommend 2XU products for anyone looking for compression shorts or tights that are both effective and comfortable. I don't know of anyone that has been disappointed with 2XU.
Is 2XU better than skins?
The Skins have a bit more compression. It's noticeable to me, but it's really only a bit. The Skins do not have a drawstring on the waist, instead opting for a wider waistband and snug elastic. The 2XU waist is much more comfortable for longer runs or sports activity, with no elastic but rather the standard drawstring.
Are 2XU tights see through?
There have been complaints that 2XU's tights are see-through, which I thankfully didn't find to be the case with the MCS tights in black during my use of them (though it's a greater concern while strength-training than during runs).
