The Spider V's controls are intuitive, although the display is a little on the small side. At-home beginner: The Spider V 60 or 30 or the AMPLIFi 30 will likely suit you best as they're the lowest cost amps and offer a wide range of amp models and effects. If you don't have an iOS device or don't want to use one, the AMPLIFi won't suit you.Jan 28, 2021
Is Line 6 a bad amp?
They're nothing compared to other modelling amps, they're sterile, buzzy and thin sounding and just bad. But they'd probably be ok for beginners if they improved them a bit more. I don't know WHY people give digital amps a hard time, technology has gotten so good that there is HARDLY a difference between a solid state and digital. It holds its own against TUBE amps too. ... If you want a digital amp, go with Line 6. They are excellent quality and have all the features you could dream of.
