Background Graphics can be added to the powerpoint.
You can use the format background utility in PowerPoint to use an image from your computer or online.This background can be applied to your entire presentation.Adding effects to the background image can give it some flair.The slide master may need to be edited if you can't change the background.
Step 1: You can open your powerpoint presentation.
Graphics can be added to the background of a slide.You can open the presentation in PowerPoint.
Step 2: The design tab can be found at the top of the window.
This will show the design tools.
Step 3: Click the button to change the background.
There is a Design ribbon on the far right side.There is a sidebar on the right side of the screen.
Step 4: You can apply the background by selecting the slides.
By default, your background changes only apply to the active slide.Click each slide in the slide list on the left if you want to select it.At the end of this section, you can apply the background to every slide in your presentation.
Step 5: Select the picture or texture you want to fill.
You can choose a picture to use as the background.Solid colors, gradients, and patterns are some of the fill options you can choose from.There are additional options for that type of fill if you select one.Adding images and graphics to the background is the focus of this guide.
Step 6: Pick the image that you want to use as the background.
If you want to add an image that won't be stretched or squeezed, you should use a resolution of 1280 x 720.Click the "File" button to take a picture.You can navigate to the image you want with a file browser.You can find pictures from online sources.You can perform a Bing web search, choose images stored in your OneDrive, or grab pictures from your Facebook account.To find a premade texture background, click the "texture" menu.If you don't want to use your own image, there are premade textures that you can pick from.
Step 7: The picture should be set for all the slides.
The picture is added as the background for the slides.Click the "Apply to All" if you want to apply it to every slide.The background of every slide will be set by this.
Step 8: The tile picture should be turned into a tiled texture by checking the "Tile picture as texture".
It works best for images that are small.
Step 9: The tiling effect can be adjusted by the controls.
You can use the controls to adjust the spacing between the tiled images.
Step 10: The image transparency can be adjusted using the transparency sliders.
If you want to add watermarks to your slides, this is useful.Setting a background image with a high transparency will allow you to use an image as a watermark without being distracted from the information on the slides.
Step 11: The "Effects" button can be found at the top of the "Format Background" menu.
You can choose from a variety of different effects that you can apply to your background image.If you hold your mouse over it, you'll see a preview of each in the menu.Select the effect you want to use from the menu.Additional options may appear when you select an effect.Depending on the effect you chose, the options vary.
Step 12: To apply the effects to all of your slides, click "Apply to All"
You can change all of the slides in your presentation with this.
Step 13: The View tab is in PowerPoint.
This will show different view options.
Step 14: The "Slide Master" button is located at the bottom of the page.
The left frame has a list of your master slides.There are different types of content in a presentation.The theme and graphics options on your master slides are not the same as background settings.
Step 15: The master slide can be edited.
The slide will open in the main view.The main master slide can be found on the list.There are different slides in the master list.All slides with the same layout will be affected by the changes made to that master.All slides in the presentation will be applied by the slide at the top of the master list.
Step 16: Click the "Background Styles" button if you want to format the background.
This will open the sidebar.
Step 17: The background should be adjusted after the previous steps.
You can adjust the background graphics using the steps outlined above.To set a new picture as the master background, use the "Picture or texture fill" option.Every slide in your presentation will have this background applied to it.
