"Bates Motel" season 1, episode 9 review: Norman and Norma
In this week's episode, she tells Norman that she is ready to dump the motel off on someone else.
Jake will not be the last one to hear from Norma.He is sending her flowers and going past her motel to make sure she knows that this isn't over.She asked the sheriff for help, but he told her that Jake doesn't exist, all of his information is fake.
Norman is getting some positive attention from his teacher as she tells him that he is a perfect straight A student and that his writing is good enough to be published.There is a chemistry between Norman and his teacher.He told her that he wouldn't move when she brought up moving to Norman.
Bradley asked Dylan if he could get her into her father's office to get some of his things, but when he talked to his boss, he was not interested in hearing her name.Fortunately fate smiled on him and his boss told him to just throw all of his stuff in the trash.He sneaks Bradley into the office after dark, but his partner catches them and even though he lets Bradley and Dylan go to her father's old office, he know holds this over Dylan.She is distraught over the idea that her father was having an affair when she discovers love letters from a woman to her.There is a connection between Dylan and her.
When she meets with a real estate agent, she learns that she can't sell the property due to the new by-pass being put in, and she starts to physically attack the man with her hand bag.She goes back to her car.No one seems to have the money, so he thinks that Norma is hiding it because she owes him $150,000 for the last bunch of girls.She says that she will meet him the next day and he is happy with that.
It only gets weirder when she kisses him on the neck after crawling into Norman's single bed to sleep with him for comfort.
