Be a person who is warm.

Do you want to show people how much you care?Have you ever been referred to as cold or arrogant? You can use this article to build stronger connections with others and let them know that they matter to you.

Step 1: You should nurture your self-esteem.

If you want to be a good person, you have to face your fears, recognize your strengths, and appreciate yourself.Treat yourself the same way you'd treat a friend.Would you call your friend stupid if he did poorly on a test? No?Don't do it to yourself, because you deserve better.

Step 2: Take care of yourself.

It's difficult to lift others up when you're not swimming. When other people need you, look out for your physical and psychological health.Get at least 8 hours of sleep, eat well, and do other forms of exercise. It's important to your well-being.You can learn how to say no.It's important to set boundaries in your life.Boundaries are an act of love, they allow you to breathe, and keep the relationship strong, even though it might feel tough.Do things you love.Schedule relaxation time every day, hang out with loved ones, and work on hobbies.

Step 3: Go ahead and present yourself.

Wear clean clothes, wash your face, brush your teeth, and comb your hair.People will know that you care about them if you look good.It is optional to wear designer clothes, do your hair, and wear makeup. It's okay to do them if you like them, but there is nothing wrong with not doing them either.

Step 4: Think of things you're thankful for.

An attitude of gratitude will make you happy. If you focus on the good things in your life, you will end up feeling better. At the end of every day, think of three positive things that happened.Write down why you're happy about them.Don't forget to keep a list of things you're thankful for.Every day, add it to it.The good things in life include hot chocolate, rainbows, good friends, fuzzy animals, and so on.If you feel like it, add illustrations or photos.Whenever you are having a bad time, look through the list.

Step 5: Think about the things you love about your friends.

If you want to, write them down. It's a good idea to remind yourself of why you care about them.

Step 6: Be open and reachable.

They're more likely to have a conversation with you if you look friendly.Prepare some conversations ahead of time to help you get to know others, and be open, treat others with compassion. The above image is an example of how to look away from a conversation.

Step 7: Take a moment to celebrate other people's achievements.

A good friend is out in the sunshine on the rainy days.Say "I'm happy for you!"And say it.

Step 8: Do good things.

Good things should always be done wherever you are.It doesn't matter how small they are, they make the world a happier place. It will come back to you if you give kindness freely.

Step 9: You should get involved in a good cause.

Disaster victims, animals at shelters, disabled people fighting stigma, and campaigns that fight hunger are some of the groups that will be helped by this choice. This will allow you to practice kindness and empathise with yourself.

Step 10: How much do they mean to you?

There's nothing wrong with launching into a monologue about how wonderful they are, but this doesn't necessarily mean taking them aside. You can compliment them, listen to their interests, give them gifts, and so on.Every day, resolve to show love to at least 3 people.

Step 11: It's okay to not be completely warm all the time.

It's okay to be firm with people who try to take advantage of you or spread bad information. If you have to, you can be rude.It doesn't make you less warm or less likable if you protect others and assert your boundaries. It is an act of self care.If the person's conscience will kick in and they will realize that they were in the wrong, "Turn the other cheek" is a good advice.People will slap each other. You will get help or fight back if passivity is not the answer.Being firm is an act of kindness. If you let your son cry because he doesn't want to go to the doctor, he'll learn that crying will get him out of whatever he wants to do.It's okay to have tough love in these circumstances.

Step 12: Practice being compassionate.

If you see someone having a bad day, stop and think, "How could someone help me?"When someone is struggling, listen and try to understand before judging them.
