Become a soldier.

To become an Army parachutist, you have to have discipline in order to complete all the required physical training, pass the necessary exams, and prepare for the changes between training units.You need to do this in order to become an airborne soldier. Step 1: Know what you have to do. In order to join the army, you need to understand what paperwork and documents are required.The process should begin here.For information, research online.The main website for the Army has information that can answer questions or concerns that may arise during the application process.There is an Army recruiting office.Recruiters will be able to help during the enlistment process.The recruiters will help you until you start physical training.All required paperwork needs to be completed.You will have to verify your identity.Provide a birth certificate, social security card, driver's license, and academic records. Step 2: All required exams should be passed. To join the Army, you need to complete a couple of exams and meet certain scores.You need to pass a background check.If you have ever been convicted of a felony, you will not be able to serve in the military.To find out what role you are eligible for in the army, take the academic evaluation.You can start your career based on what you score on the skills test.If you want a physical evaluation done, get it done.To serve in the army, you have to meet certain height, weight, and health requirements. Step 3: You have to complete your basic Army training. After 9 weeks of intensive training, you will be able to learn survival and combat skills.You will have to go through a lot of physical and mental training to be ready for combat.Strengthen your stamina through extensive running exercises that are difficult at first, but will get you used to them as you go through training.Through early morning and late night training, you can develop dedication and determination. Step 4: It is necessary to finish training with graduation. Step 5: Advanced Individualized training is finished. You will be transferred to a unit where you will learn about the position you are training for.Before you apply to jump school, you need to finish this.Even if there isn't formal physical training, continue to be physically active.This will help you prepare for jump school.It will help you when you train at airborne school if you pay attention to all the on-hands experience you gather during this training. Step 6: Start the jump school process. You can complete physical challenges on higher ground once you finish on the ground.Proper parachute landing techniques can be developed using a landing fall platform.It will be harder to learn this skill once you train on higher ground.During a descent, practice controlling your parachute.You need to learn this before you can jump off the towers.You can get used to the sensation of a parachute jump from complete jumps from a tower.This will be your first high jump. Step 10: Continue your training above the ground. You will get more physical training in the second week.Training will consist of more challenges off the ground.You can learn how to deal with falling on landing.It's important that you don't get hurt.Recover from the drag.It will be easier to jump if you learn how to recover quickly.You can jump from a 250-foot tower.It's a good idea to start from the tower first before jumping. Step 11: Finish in the air. The third and final week of training will be different.You will get to jump from the plane.Both conventional and steerable parachutes can be used.You will need to successfully use both in order to complete the training.5 successful jumps are required.You need to do all 5 jumps right in order to get wings.You can make the jumps without assistance.If you have to re-try during another training session, this will determine if you completed your training successfully. Step 12: With graduation, celebrate again. You successfully finished training as a parachutist after completing your required jumps.You will be able to celebrate your success with a graduation ceremony.There will be a short celebration.The graduation process will be shorter at airborne school because you will have your next assignment ready after the ceremony.Let family members know who you will be spending time with after the graduation ceremony. Step 13: Receive your wings from the Army. You become an Army parachutist after completing your qualification jumps and graduation.You can be deployed to assist in airborne operations.Only an elite group of soldiers are able to get an additional skill identifier.Obtain the right to wear the coveted "Silver Wing" on your uniform that represents the additional training you completed to become an Army Paratrooper. Step 14: Prepare for your next assignment. You should know where you are going after you receive your wings.It is important that you know what unit you are traveling to in order to understand the weather you will be living in.Be prepared to use your new skills as an airborne soldier.You will be able to use your skills as a military parachutist.
