Benjamin Moore has a paint called "Bleeker Beige", it is a coastal color.
Sometimes the mere mention of the word "beige" at the paint store elicits a yawn from some of our customers but just like a little black dress, a great neutral paint colour never goes out of style. If you like to change your decor and accessories frequently, it is the perfect choice.
Benjamin Moore Bleeker Beige is from the Historical Colors collection. It pairs well with medium to dark toned woods and crisp white ceilings/trim.You can punch it up with warm red and green or cool navy or violet.A neutral throughout will help tie your spaces together if you have a variety of flooring in your home.It is a great background colour for both traditional and modern artwork.Add rich leather furniture for comfort and a soft blanket in a creamy shade for texture.
There are a lot of things you can do with a neutral wall paint colour.

I use it in my living room and kitchen.I would like to use a blue for an accent color in the kitchen, but I am having a hard time finding one that feels light and airy, while coordinating with the Bleeker Beige.Any ieas?
If you want to stand up to a rich beige like Bleeker, look for blues that look a little Muddy and have a bit more depth to them. There are Benjamin Moore Blue Porcelain 1641, Blue Stream 1668, Paradiso 717, and Summer Shower 2135-60.Have a great weekend and thank you for visiting our website.
I love your site and helpful tips.I have all of the trim in my home in Bleeker Beige.I have trouble choosing a wall color in my open floor plan great room, dining area, kitchen and hall way.I get full morning sun and natural light because the room is two story vaulted with double story windows on the north and east walls. My kitchen cabinets are made of maple and wood.My new furniture fabrics are taupe and grey.
I prefer a softer look and have considered painting the walls a flat matt of the beige.I don't like the grey colors with it, so I wanted some variation.Do you have any advice?
Good morning. We would like to thank you for visiting. The room may look a bit flat if you paint the walls and trim the same color.Did you ever try Manchester Tan?It is the same as Bleeker Beige but is a bit lighter. It will balance out the orange in your floor by using maple tones. It is not too dark.
It looks like you have a large room with a lot of light so it can handle a more saturated colour. If you want to make a commitment on the walls, try a sample painted on a board and move it around the room. You should look at it at different times of the day.
Thank you for helping. My foyer is not double story and has a lot of natural light, so I would like to have some variation in wall color. Is there a couple grey alternatives that would compliment the beige trim? The lighter shades do not feel right to me and I did not want to go real dark grey even though that makes the trim pop.
You are correct. An off white wall will look washed out against a Bleeker Beige trim.If you are looking for a grey, I would suggest a warmer tone like Gray Owl, Intense White or York Gray.
The bedroom walls were painted lighter.I think it will be too light in my room.Do you mean darker when you suggest a saturated color?I like darker colors but am having a hard time finding grey taupe that goes with my wood and tile.
Hello, Kinberly.A saturated colour will be richer and darker than grey.Sandy Hook Gray or Finnie Gray are two Grays that have a touch of gold in them.
The Sandy Hook Gray could be the color.I will have a sample mixed to see what it looks like in different areas of my room during different times of the day.Make sure it doesn't look green with my fabric in a bigger sample. It looks good with the beige, maple cabinets, and olive tile back splash.
It looks like a winner. It is always a good idea to get a sample and try it out at home.Have a great weekend!
The fixed elements in the great room seem to work well with both of these colors. For the large amount of vaulted walls and green fabric, the Sandy Hook Grey seems a little dark.It looked great on the sample board and we thought it was Finney Grey.It looks like a grey color when we put it up on different areas of the walls. My husband asked if there was a Finney Greige. We don't know which direction to go now. This is the best color until it is on the walls.
Sandy Hook Grey is too dark for a paint shop to mix with 10% lights. They should be able to do that quickly on the computer. You could also look at Winterwood.Finnie Gray might want to try Rocky Beack.Since it doesn't use a black tint in the formula, it may not look as grey.
