Can I install Sky Q myself?
Sky Q installation is quick and simple, an engineer can start setting up your TV with Sky Q as soon as you have received your viewing card from Sky in the post. Just make sure you have your Sky card ready and your TV installed so your engineer can get right to work!
Will a Sky Q Box work without subscription?

Re: SkyQ Mini Box maximum number already in use. If you have a v1 1TB main box (the non-UHD version) then only one Mini box can be in use: the other has to be on Standby. 2TB boxes and the UHD/HDR 1TB (available after November 2019) support two Mini boxes in use.
How many mini boxes can I have with Sky Q 2TB?
With the 1TB and 2TB UHD Sky Q boxes, you can connect the same number of Mini boxes, watch Sky on up to three TVs at the same time (the main box plus two Mini boxes) and stream on up to two other devices at home. You can also record six shows at once. The only difference here is the storage capacity.
