Parking/Transportation All students, including freshmen, are allowed to have cars on campus and must register them with the University Police Department But you don't need a car to get where you want to go.
Does Cortland have single dorms?
Eleven single rooms are available for those who share a commitment to work together to serve others. You will share a common kitchen and lounge area and may opt out of the meal plan. You must apply to live in the Leadership House. First-semester freshmen cannot apply.
How much is a parking pass at SUNY Cortland?
Residential. Semester permit cost is $75 ($25 registration fee, $50 parking fee). Registration fees are non-refundable. Allows for 24/7 vehicle parking in lots S-57, S-62, S-64 and S-70.
Can you have a car at Cortland?
Only one vehicle per permit may park on campus per day. While you are able to register multiple vehicles to a permit, only one may park on campus during any calendar day. If you must switch vehicles during a calendar day, contact parking@cortland.edu or 607-753-4123.

Memberships. Starting June 1, 2021, all members can return to the Student Life Center. Memberships can be purchased at the Recreational Sports Office in the Student Life Center.

One or two dogs may be present to join students and tutors in their sessions, provided students are comfortable. Call or stop by the office to find out when our dogs are available. Students love to visit The Learning Center and de-stress with the dogs.

Harriet Holsten Pool is home to the Cortland swimming and diving teams. Located in the Park Center, this six-lane, 50-meter pool features a state-of-the-art timing system.

Do SUNY Cortland dorms have air conditioning?
Glass Tower Hall is our newest residence hall, which offers quad-style living (two double rooms that share a bathroom) and air conditioning. There is a higher room charge for residents to live in Glass Tower Hall.
Is Cortland a dry campus?
SUNY Cortland strictly enforces its alcohol policy. The College is particularly concerned about patterns of poor decision making.
