Can we boil the oven ready Lasagne?
Isn't that a nightmare for a working mom?I don't save the world, but hey, this is my dream, and your family follows you around the house like a pack of dogs, barking questions...
In spite of the fact that the only ingredient in the recipe list that I actually had was the left over noodles, I found a recipe for Lasagna Rollups in a cookbook of 30 minutes or less.
If you want to microwave the noodles, put them in a 2 quart dish with hot tap water.Take the noodles out of the water and put them on a towel.
In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, egg, basil, and salt.
The cheese blend should be put on the noodles from the short side.
Place the noodle on top of the tomato mixture in the casserole dish with the seam side down.
All noodles included. The noodles will be heated through in about 6 minutes.
Remove the casserole from the microwave, top it with cheese and place it in the oven on the middle shelf.Let stand for 5 minutes after removing from the oven.
Meat can be added to the noodles in the tomato sauce.I think it took me longer than 30 minutes to eat this quick dinner.
This was a great way to use my new salad and yogurt. When I told the kids what to eat, they didn't scowl.Who can be a bad person when it comes to food?!
Awesome! You have a fast meal from CSA ingredients.I don't use my microwave to cook things.
The cook book gave the idea to use the microwave.I appreciate the compliment about using my CSA veggies on the fly. That made my day.
Looks good!I have found that some of the best dinners come from that desperation. What is in the fridge? It was a feeling.I probably just as often order take out when I have that feeling.
I have to save that for the end of the week since I decided not to cook on Friday nights anymore. It's all about choices.
Your kids don't know how lucky they are.My dinner is usually waffles and eggs or soup from a can.Your roll ups look great.I have never eaten those noodles before.I'm always inspired by your posts.
