It depends. Most wireless cycle computers use bluetooth or ant+ (wireless protocols) to receive signals from sensors that can be mounted on most kinds of bikes. If your stationary bike doesn't have sensors that will send bluetooth or ant+ to your cycle computer, you may be able to add them relatively cheaply.
