- Reboot your computer.
- Make sure your computer and Chromecast device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Confirm your Chrome browser is up to date.
- Disconnect from Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) or proxy servers.
- Make sure that firewall / antivirus software are up to date and aren't blocking connections to the Chromecast device.
