Most modern MRI centers can give you a copy of your MRI on a disc or flash drive after your appointment. While only your doctor can make a diagnosis based on the image, viewing and analyzing your MRI at home is easy!

How do I get a copy of my MRI? You are welcome to get a copy of the images and the report at any of our locations at no cost. On the day of your appointment you can request a copy of your images and results with the staff in the MRI department or the staff at the Radiology front desk.

If you are having an MRI, you can request a CD immediately after the scan, or contact your doctor: as a patient, you have a right to a copy of this data. You'll receive a CD that includes the MRI images in a format called DICOM.2015-08-25

How do I copy an MRI CD to my computer?

Open the disc burner, and insert the DVD you want to copy. The program will automatically recognize it and begin to copy the contents to your computer so it can burn it to the blank DVD-R later. Once the DVD ripping is finished, the burner will automatically eject the disc.
