This is simple: a traditional 50w halogen has a beam angle of 38 degrees, so you just need to find an LED spotlight that matches this. However, you can get LED's with a much wider beam angle, up to 135 degrees.14 Aug 2017
The higher the rating the brighter the light! A standard 50W halogen lamp outputs 400 lumens so you probably need a 4-5W LED bulb with very efficient LED. With some slightly less efficent LEDS 7 or 10 watt LED will give a similar light to a 50 watt halogen.20 Aug 2014

How do you change a 2 pin halogen bulb?
Due to the 2 pin halogen design, you'll need to remove the bulb a bit differently than you may be used to. Gently push the bulb in or towards the base then rotate it to the right usually about 90 degrees. If the socket is a straight connection, you may be able to simply pull the bulb out.4 Dec 2021
