Can you walk into Quest Diagnostics without an appointment?
Scheduled appointments are strongly encouraged and will receive priority. If you walk in, you will have to wait for the next available opening. If you have an order for a COVID-19 Antibody test, for the safety of our patients and employees, you must schedule an appointment time.
Does Quest Diagnostics do rapid Covid testing?
Most of our locations offer molecular testing only, but select locations offer rapid. If rapid is available in your location, it will be an option after you enter your zip code. This test may be helpful if you: Do not have symptoms of COVID-19 and would like to use the test result to resume social activities.
Do you have to pay upfront at Quest Diagnostics?
The money or credit card is asked for up front, but is not necessary to have the services. Once the EOB (Explanation of Benefits) is processed, Quest will invoice you for the co-payment you owe. If you did overpay them at the time of service, you should receive a refund from Quest Diagnostic.
