The new card is better because they get to play more games than before.
I would like to thank Chuck E. Cheese for hiring knowledgeable and valuable staff.
Since we have been on scurvy, I've been coming here almost every day. They stopped taking orders at 7:30 and closed at 8pm, which is the first time I've called at that time. The time you close should be posted on the site.
It was a last minute birthday party for my son and daughters and we didn't know where to go or if we should have it at all.Everything they included made us go with Chuck E. Cheese. We had a small party with only 7 kids. They can play as much as they want for two hours. The host was attentive and positive. The facility is clean and up to date. The kids can see how much easier it is when they use the cards. My sons and daughters went in the ticket blaster. They racked up two thousand tickets.
I love this place. You don't spend a lot of money if you play any game with 1 token. The kids like coming here. It's fun to have a kids party here. They sell beer so that's a big plus. That's right!
My children haven't been able to go to Chuck E. Cheese for the past year because of the shutdown, but I would give our experience a 1 star anyways.I don't care about anyone's political beliefs.Do not use a child's play center as a political platform, regardless of which side you are on.An employee can't wear a political face mask at work. This is not a place for you to make your own opinions known.I spent an hour playing on machines that didn't work and eating a junk pizza. At least half of the machines that were supposed to be available were out, even though I understand the need to take out machines due to social distance.Every time there was a game that had tickets, you could win up to two tickets.I was disappointed beyond belief.I will not spend my hard earned money here again. The employee mask policy should be changed to include a Chuck E. Cheese mask. Not interested in spending a large amount of money if my kids can't play all of the games and if they have to be subjected to an EMPLOYEE's personal political beliefs.
Before visiting a location, I should read the reviews on yelp.100% disappointment! If you want to wait an hour for one pizza, the wrong order, cold food, and no sense of urgency, this is the place for you. With all the places going out of business, I hope someone looks at this and changes. You can take your kids to places where they will receive excellent service. This is not the place where a kid can grow up.
We are sorry and understand that it is frustrating. Please click here to give us more details so we can share this with our corporate office, and they will work with the Valencia team to make things right: bit.ly/2iZjLaT - Chuck E. Cheese's
I came here with my niece to spend time with her and I felt like all the guests were running the place on their own.Their food was good and they were clean. They seemed to be very short staffed and there weren't many guests there to begin with. The managers were arguing about people not showing up for work and there was tension among them.I ordered a medium pizza with a stuffed crust and ended up getting the wrong one.I had to keep the messed up order because they made up for it by giving me the right order. The entire atmosphere of Chucky E. Cheese is geared towards families and smiles and professionalism should be a must at all times.
We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at our Valencia location. We can help you with this visit if you email Guest Relations at guestrelations@cecentert...
A small play yard for the kids at Chuck E Cheese is a bonus.I can't believe they are leaving.Drove up to Stevenson Ranch so my kids could run around on a rainy day.It took almost 5 minutes for someone to check us in.There was only one person working and she was taking orders. We found a seat and started to get used to it.They have a play gym. They don't clean it often. The tubes smell like urine.Someone's child vomited on the play steps and I couldn't find anyone to address it.After I got a bunch of napkins, I picked it up and then a manager came over and gave me Disinfectant. We started talking. He was nice.He gave my grandson more tickets while he was looking at the machine.I thought of it as a payment for cleaning up vomit. The kids were playing games. Some tickets were won.All but one of the ticket exchange machines were broken when it was time to cash in.The other one was being fed by a young boy with a lot of tickets. He jammed the machine.I contacted the staff. It took us over an hour to cash them in.It was for a dumb slinky. They gave each a lollipop, which the younger ones probably meant more than a toy.I wouldn't come back to this Chuck E Cheese.
We got a coupon for a free large pizza with a $5 game purchase and brought our 4 year old to surprise him. They wouldn't honor the coupon and only allowed us to use it if we purchased a game pass with minutes instead of points. Our kid can't play games very fast and it would be too short for him, so we needed the points. They said it would take 30 minutes to reset the system, but wouldn't let us redeem it.They ruined our family outing because of their system's issues.
My kids birthday was here and I was disappointed by the staff.Since it was the first party of the day, I called twice to confirm if we could show up 15 minutes prior to the party. We are all waiting outside and the staff is smirking at everyone who is waiting to set up.They didn't open the doors until a minute after 10am.I get that there is a lot to setup for these parties but once we get in, the staff was just passive, rude and had bad attitudes about everything. They lost the drink machine key and only water was available to drink. It's fine if we received a discount for our party package which was supposed to include unlimited drinks for everyone. They only gave us extra tickets and refused to give us a discount. The problem is how un-accommodating the staff was with their mistakes and mess ups.The staff is young, immature, and have no business being in customer service.Parents spend a lot of money to throw parties here to make it stress free and I feel like the stress was amplified because of the team here.Although I notice how bad the team is, I just don't care because I want my kids to enjoy themselves. This time, it was different. If the managers gave a shit, this place would be better. The manager was the worst person on the team. They all had horrible customer service because the team was following his lead.I have been in customer service for over two decades and can't imagine being such an asshole. It's super lame.It took everything in me to not check these poor excuses for employees.
Corporate needs to change the staff or send them to customer service boot camp to enforce standards. The staff here don't like their job and it shows. The whole 2 hours we were there, no happy greetings or acknowledgement from any of the staff. We couldn't find attendants when we needed them at the register, when the kids wanted to trade in their tickets for something else, and when families were getting ready to leave. It made me wonder if the person at the door was the cook because they kept going back and forth from the back.On a weekday, we went for the buffet. No joke, only 3 slim slices of cheese pizza, half a pizza with onions and tomatoes, and 2 slices sausage pizza to choose from, so I filled myself with salad which is your standard lettuce and mixed garden pre-cut packaged stuff.I wish that was mentioned when we ordered, otherwise we would've chosen something else, because they got to play, but I hate that this location is forming that subpar customer service expectation with the overall experience.
If I ever come back, I will never order this again.
We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at our Valencia location. We can assist you if you reach out to our Guest Relations team.
Didn't go for the pizza. It isn't very good. The reason to go to Chuck E Cheese is the amusement park aspect for the grandkids.Rides were clean and seemed to keep the children entertained. It used a computer program to create a sketch after taking your picture. They had a similar device that just photographed the "riders," but the photo was of poor quality and not as neat. I was impressed with the child security. The family entered and we were all stamped with a number. The number was revealed when we left.My one-year-old granddaughter-unit's stamp totally disappeared, probably a casualty of sunscreen application earlier and too vigorous cleaning later. The mother-unit had to show a picture on her phone to prove their relationship. The system to prevent kidnapping is pretty good.
