A CR2 File is an image taken with a Canon camera. The files have an extension called.CR2.Two different Canon cameras will produce different CR2 files. If you want to edit a CR2 file, you'll need the latest version of the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in installed, as each camera model has to be added. If you're using an older version of the program, the files may need to be converted to DNG format first.
