Step 1: Do you know what crabs look like?

Step 3: Purchase over the counter medication.
You should look for 1% permethrin or pyrethrin.These products are used to kill lice.You can buy them at any store.You'll need a second treatment about a week after the first one because permethrin or pyrethrin doesn't kill eggs.Newly hatched lice will be killed by this.Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant to make sure you get the best treatment.Hot baths or shaving the area are not good home remedies.These aren't going to kill the pubic lice.
Step 4: The area should be washed.
