Back at the BAU, a team consisting of Emily Prentiss, Paget Brewster, Adam Rodriguez, David Rossi, Joe Mantegna, and Dr. Tara Lewis leave for Mexico to help out.He had traces of cocaine and heroin in his system.The team met him in prison and found out that he is an anagram for the man who was stabbed to death in the motel room.She was also being framed for her murder because of the drug charges.

There is a fuzzy recollection of himself and Ramos in the motel room when an invader barged in.The good news for him is that he doesn't have illegal substances in his mother's medication.The team discovered that Ramos had a dual citizenship and worked north of the U.S. border.The team was able to have him sent to a U.S. prison instead of the Mexican maximum security facility.

A man in Miami is using the local media to sensationalize his crimes.

The team promise that he will get the best legal counsel from the FBI, but they can't because he was in Mexico for personal reasons.After finding out who framed him, he is back on the team, but with a precondition.He has to take 30 days off for every 100 days he works in the field.Prentiss tries to convince him that it's just a temporary measure to make sure that he doesn't break down while on duty.He has doubts about his ability to serve, even though the team has full confidence in him.The 30-day call will allow him to hold seminars for the FBI, which will hopefully put him on the path to recovery.

The bad news is that Spencer is busy more than ever.The team has no doubts about his ability, even though he might still have some reservations.It is only a matter of time before he gets his confidence back and continues to give his valuable contribution to the FBI.When Criminal Minds airs Wednesday nights on CBS, you can find out what Spencer is up.
