unfortunately unlike amd, intel is not really that for backwards compatibility. Lga 1200 is only supported for 10th and 11th gen. For 5th to 9th gen it's the lga 1151 socket. For 4th gen you need the lga 1150 socket.

Somewhere on the box order manual for your motherboard there will be a listing of what socket that motherboard has on it. Once you know the socket you can look up whether or not that cooler fits onto that socket.
