Last month, I ordered a book from them.There was an expected arrival date.It was over a week later.It took 4 days for the label to be delivered to the first processing center after it was printed.There were no further updates after that.I contacted the shipping service with the tracking number and was told it was an untracked service.Reached out via email to ThriftBooks to explain what was happening a couple of days after I posted my initial review.Within 24 hours, the person who responded to me issued a refund after they couldn't find any more information.They said there was no need to pay again if the book showed up.On January 29th, 29 days after the estimated arrival, the book showed up in my mailbox.I have completely changed my opinions and feelings about everything that's happened because of great customer service.It was due to slow delivery, poor packaging, and a tracking number for a book sent through an untracked service.If you're not in a hurry, I would recommend you to others.
Brian Shul's book was selected, bought and paid for.The calendar was dated 1997.They are threatening legal action if they don't get a refund immediately.Never deal with this company, they are a fraudulent scam.If l could, I would give a minus score.
I have ordered 20 books.Very happy.It's really good to find older print books.There are newer books at a great price.You're buying used books that are not going to be perfect.

Don't buy from these guys on eBay.They didn't send my book after I paid.After 90 days, EBay won't help.Even though they have the book in stock on their website, they refuse to fix the problem because it has to go through eBay.They have my money, but they aren't ethical enough to send the book.I received nothing from the people who paid for the books, and they won't support their customers.
Don't risk ordering through these guys.Betterworldbooks was where I ordered them and they were fine.
I can now get the thrift books I have been ordering off of Amazon directly from the supplier.Their free shipping rate is easy to achieve, the books are in good condition, and they come in a timely manner.I've been pleased after 4 orders of books.Thriftbooks employees should keep up their good work.
Don't forget, these are used books.The words have been used up but the content is still there.A book is something to read.I am very pleased with the condition that they have advertised the book in to be exactly or it is in better condition with what they stated.
I wanted to get books that I could use for copying for our Bible Study, so I ordered 5 books from here.I understand thatgently, but not totally.We don't have a place to write or use our own thoughts as we study God's word.I'm not happy with ThriftBooks for selling me " totally used" books, regardless of the price.Don't judge the books from the pictures, just take my word for it.
I wish I'd read the reviews on the books I bought.All of them had bent pages and one had a gash on the cover.The books are sent in a thin plastic bag with no padding, so they get beat up when they arrive.I paid more for "like new" condition and they arrived looking like this.

I was very disappointed with the product and customer service handling the complaint.My sister went through a lot of research to find what I wanted: first hardcover editions.She found them on thriftbooks.com.The same work of literature in a paperback, even with the previous price sticker for $3.99, was what I got.She was able to recover $30 from the second faulty paperback version of the book.I removed it because it was a gift and no note with order details was included in the package.When addressed with the company rep my sis was told that since the small sticker with barcode is missing, they will not return her payment, although my sister provided them with her order details and photos.

High shipping charges for very long shipping times can be found in states that ship via Fedex.When I inquired about the shipment up front in order to avoid delays, they specifically stated that they use Fedex, then sent through cheaper alternative anyways.They continued to lie when challenged.You can buy your books elsewhere.

Over 50 books have been ordered by me.Only had an issue with two.They responded to customer service that was written.A new book was issued and a full refund was given for the used book.I don't understand how bad the reviews are.It is not a new book.To pay more fees using boxes for books that are used is the nerve of people wanting a company who already covers free shipping.They send me a box when I buy new.You get what you pay for.You are not entitled to grow up.
