The park contains three beaches: Outlet Beach, Sandbanks Beach, and Dunes Beach. The largest and longest is Outlet Beach. There is a $15.00* "Daily Vehicle Permit" vehicle admission fee to get into the park. Additional fees apply for camping.
Do you need a pass to go to Sandbanks beach?

Can I walk into Sandbanks?
Sandbanks Provincial Park is one of the busiest parks in the province, welcoming over 800,000 visitors in 2020! Many summer days — especially weekends — Sandbanks hits capacity and can't welcome any more visitors. This year, you need to book your day use permit in advance to guarantee entry.
Do you have to pay to go to Sandbanks beach?

Is Sandbanks Provincial Park free?
Sandbanks, North Beach provincial parks. A valid permit is required for all vehicles within provincial parks, including on free day-use days (Monday to Thursday, from May 1 to September 2, 2021). Permits must be visibly displayed on all vehicles and capacity will be limited to avoid overcrowding.
