We take free returns in-store or online (except for Outlet purchases - see above). Returning by mail just means flying up to the top and picking your country.
Should I size up or down in Allbirds?
Some of the shoes Allbirds sells do not come in half sizes. For those pieces, they recommend customers size up for the perfect fit. If you have wider feet, they also recommend sizing up. For customers interested in their Tree Runners, Allbirds recommends sizing down if you are between sizes or have wide feet.19 Jul 2021
Do Allbirds shoes stretch out?
Great question! If your Wool shoes are a bit snug to start, you can expect them to stretch about a quarter inch after a few weeks of wear. In contrast, your Tree shoes will likely retain their original shape. Either way, we recommend wearing them for 1-2 weeks to break in.
Can I return worn Allbirds?
The general Allbirds return policy terms are: You can return worn apparel except for socks and underwear. Returns must come in original packaging. Sock bundles and other accessories are final sale items, and you can't return them.
Are Allbirds guaranteed?

How many years do Allbirds last?
Allbirds durability is impressive. They can last up to two years with almost constant wear. The company also offers a 30-day guarantee. You can return or exchange these sneakers within 30 days, even if you've worn them out and about.16 Nov 2021
What do you do with old Allbirds?
Throw the shoes in the washing machine on wool/delicates cycle (cold water). We recommend using a linen bag and washing the insoles by hand for best results. Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach at all costs. Do NOT tumble dry air dry your Allbirds like the good ol' days!
Do Allbirds shoes run big or small?
Most users say the shoes run true to size. The majority of the styles are available in whole sizes 8-14 for men and 5-11 for women. If you're in between sizes, it's best to size up. The sneaker styles are also good for people with wide feet because the upper fabric is flexible.6 May 2020
Do Allbirds come up small?
The Wool collection starts out a little snug and then stretches naturally, while the Tree material is super accommodating, but will fit similarly over time as it retains shape. We've found most full-size customers stick with their full size in both materials.
Are Allbirds supposed to be tight?
