Fix Xbox tray problem, it won't open or close
I bought a second hand console.There was no sound or noise when I tried to open the tray by pressing the button.It blinks it's green light.
The same thing happens when closing.The system says it's closed, but it isn't.This is the case when the tray is closed already or when it is manually opened.
You would say that's the motor.If I power off the console with the tray open, then I can power it on.It closes the tray.It knows how to close the tray.
Does anyone have any suggestions?The software doesn't send a pulse to the tray to respond.It closes very smoothly on startup, but not when I tell it to...
The software works the way it's supposed to.The hardware is not.Try blowing out the drive with compressed air.The two mechanisms work together.One could be broke, but not the other.Stuff happens.
