You will spend three lessons on Reasoning Through Language Arts, the longest of the four GED test modules.The lesson focuses on your reading skills after you have an overview of the RLA.The strategy for mastering the reading passages of the RLA will be mapped out.

This lesson is related to the Reasoning Through Language Arts test module.You will look at the parts of speech and sentence structure.This lesson will prepare you for the editing part of the test module and help with your overall writing.

It's time to use what you learned in Lesson 2 and Lesson 3 to create an extended response, which is a type of essay.The extended response has a high point value, so you will want to ace it.

The first of three math lessons introduces you to the GED calculator and test content.More than half of the math questions cover the topics of algebra.The correct order for solving a multi-step problem is described in the concept of "order of operations".

Lesson 6 applies the math from Lesson 5.You can use formulas for perimeter, area, volume, and surface area.By the end of this lesson, you will know how to figure gas mileage, the cost per unit, and the area and perimeter of a room.

In this lesson, you will combine your basic math skills with geometry concepts to a higher level.You will learn how to plot points, graph lines, and figure out the slope of lines on a coordinate grid.You will learn how to use tables to solve word problems and factor and solve a quadratic equation after that.

The theme of energy and related systems will be explored in your first science lesson.You will practice some math that relates to science as you investigate the cosmos and learn physics laws.In this lesson, you will prepare for the two short answer items on the science test.

Being a good citizen requires understanding your government.You will learn about events that shaped the history and economy of the United States when you take the social studies test.

As you learn to analyze political cartoons, master the basics of economics, and learn more about 20th-century history, explore the second social studies theme.
