It's just as relaxing to have a spa day at home as it is to go somewhere.Pick a day when you won't be interrupted, turn off your phone, and light some candles.
Step 1: Draw a bath.
Whether you like it piping hot or just this side of warm, fill your tub with water at the right temperature.Light some candles while the tub is filling. You can help yourself relax by doing a few of your favorite things.Pour yourself a glass of wine, juice, tea, fruit punch or infused water.Listen to music that is chill.Try searching for "spa music" on the web.Light some incense.A fluffy towel or bathrobe is needed.
Step 2: Bath salts, essential oils, and other ingredients can be added to your bath.
This is a great way to give your bath a boost. You do not have to limit yourself to bath salts. You can add anything that helps you relax.Milk and oatmeal are great for dry skin and can be added to your bath.Add almond oil, jojoba oil or coconut oil.You will come out of the bath with soft skin.
Step 3: A skin mask can be used.
You can choose between a seaweed mask and a mud mask at the spa.The latter is difficult to make at home, but you can make a mask out of clay. You rinse it off after it sits on your skin.It makes your skin feel good.A thick paste can be made by mixing 12 cup of clay and 2 liters of water.Rub it on your body.Allow it to dry while you bath.It should be washed off in the bath.
Step 4: As you soak, massage your muscles.
You might have a sore back, legs, arms or neck because of the hard work you do between spa days.To loosen yourself up in the warm water, take time to knead your muscles with your fingers.
Step 5: Remove dead skin cells.
Use a loofah or a body scrub to get rid of dead skin. When you get out of the tub, your skin will feel good.To remove dead skin, use gentle circular motions. After you scrub, shave your legs and other body parts.
Step 6: Apply a hydrating lotion to dry your skin.
Apply a body cream to your arms, legs, and torso after you pat your skin dry with a towel.Put your bathrobe on to give it time to absorb into your skin before you get dressed.
Step 7: Take care of your face.
Wet it with warm water and use a facial brush to remove dead skin.Since your facial skin is sensitive and could stretch if you handle it roughly, be sure to use a gentle circular motion. The facial scrubs work well. You can either buy one at the store or make your own with the following ingredients: olive oil, almonds, or oatmeal. After scrubbing your face, rinse it off with warm water.
Step 8: You should get a steam treatment.
When it begins to steam, fill a small pot with water and heat it on the stove. To steam your face, drape a towel over the back of your head and hold on to the pot.To get the full benefits of the steam, hold it there for two to three minutes.Don't hold your face so close that it feels hot.Your face is warm, but not hot.Adding a few drops of essential oil to the pot will increase the pleasure of a facial steam.Tea tree oil and lavender have a relaxing effect.
Step 9: Do a mask.
Doing masks at home is a lot of fun, and they leave your face as soft as a baby's skin.mix up a recipe using household ingredients or use a facial mask from the store. For fifteen minutes, apply it to your face. For dry skin, mix honey and olive oil with a smashed banana and cosmetic clay.
Step 10: Take care of your face.
To stop the process of facial treatments, use a good cream on your face. You can use either a storebought cream or a small amount of facial oil.The oils balance your skin.Coconut oil is good for dry skin.If you are prone to getting clogged pores, coconut oil might lead to them.
Step 11: Remove the old polish.
Remove the old nail polish from your fingernails and toenails. If acetone dries out your nails, use acetone-free nail polish remover.
Step 12: You should soak your fingers.
Take a bowl of warm water and submerge your nails in it for five minutes. It will make them easier to shape. The bowl of warm water should not be used for soaps or oils.It is better to use plain water as it will not leave a mark on your fingers.
Step 13: Attach your nails.
To shape your nails, use fingernail clippers or scissors. If you want your nails to look professional, use a nail file to smooth out rough spots and even out the shapes.
Step 14: Push your nails back.
Take a cuticle pusher or orange stick and gently push back your cuticles so they are no longer visible on your nails.Don't trim or rip the cuticles since you need them in place to protect your fingers from infections.
Step 15: Put your polish on.
A good manicure has at least three coats: a base coat, a color, and a top coat. Some people like to apply more than one coat.Between coats, let your nails dry completely. If you want to paint your nails neatly, fill in the middle with one stroke on either side.If you want to paint a design on your nails, do it after the color coat, then add the top coat last to seal it in.
Step 16: Prepare your feet by soaking and buffing them.
This is your spa day and you should take the time to care for your feet. You can soak your feet in the tub or bowl.If your feet are dry, you can use a stone to remove the rough spots.Extra help is needed for some tough calluses.Try to remove dry skin with a callus shaver.
Step 17: You should trim and polish your toenails.
Make sure to round off the edges of your toenails with clippers.Either do a three-coat pedicure or apply a coat of clear polish to protect and enhance your toenails.
