More often than not, oatmeal at restaurants is made with water. Some people who are vegan say they have gotten IHOP's oatmeal before.
I like when chain restaurants have baked potatoes. It is a vegan option, not fried in oil.You can even get some steamed broccoli with it.
You may want to specify that you don't want any added butter, sour cream, cheese, or other non- vegan topping.I don't think they come standard with it, but it may vary by location.
IHOP has vegan french fries. Not really what you would associate IHOP with, but they are pretty good, not just the run-of-the-mill salted kind.
If you order without butter, the Sourdough bread and toast are vegan. The breads listed as containing milk and eggs are the Rye, Wheatberry, White, and Whole Wheat breads.
It comes standard with buttered Sourdough bread, so you need to ask for it without butter. The other ingredients are vegan.
Another big win. There is a vegan soup at IHOP.Minestrone soup is an interesting menu item because it is vegan at some restaurants and not at other restaurants.
One of the healthiest menu items is this. There is just steamed broccoli. It is important to ask that yours does not include butter. Some locations may do things differently.
Adding these veggies to a bunch of the potato/bread dishes will help them sparkle and pack some extra nutrition.

We may be able to get vegan IHOP pancakes in the future. That is a lot better than the restaurants that have promised never to sell a vegan burger.
IHOP doesn't have a veggie burger. They do not have vegan sausage or veggie bacon. They should follow in the footsteps of Carl's Jr., and other restaurants by adding Beyond Meat or similar products.
What if you are a vegan? There is a whole-food plant-based meal on the menu at IHOP.
This is more options than a lot of places. For example, compare it to Waffle House. There is no baked potato or broccoli at Waffle House. At least they didn't have fresh fruit when I went.
