The handheld blower is designed for light duty blowing jobs around the home or landscape.Although the BG55 is easy to use and reliable, operating issues can arise due to normal use that results in the blower not performing as designed.It is possible to help to diagnose and correct problems.

The work surface is stable and flat.Pull the boot from the end of the spark plug wire to make sure it's safe.

The top needs to be removed from the fuel tank.Take the old fuel out of the tank and put it in a container.Appropriately dispose of the old fuel.

Pull the pick-up body and fuel line out of the tank when you reach into the fuel tank.Remove the pick-up body from the fuel line and replace it with a new one.The fuel line should be pushed back into the tank.

Remove the top from the container.Measure 2.6 ounces of 50-to-1 two-cycle engine oil in a measuring cup and pour it into a container.Take a cup of gasoline and put it in the fuel container.Shake the container to mix the oil and gasoline.The container has a 1-gallon mark on it.

Place the top of the fuel tank on securely after pouring the new gasoline and oil mixture into it.

The spark plug should be removed with a spark-plug wrench.To loosen and remove the spark plug, place the wrench on it.The plug should be inspected for signs of cracking in the porcelain and carbon.If there is cracking or severe scoring, brush it away with a brush or get a replacement.Attach the plug to the spark plug with a spark-plug wrench.

The side of the blower engine has an air filter cover.Pull the cover off the housing with the tabs on each side.Take the foam air filter out of the housing and inspect for damage.If the filter is damaged, get a replacement.
