- Tap the square icon in the top right corner of the Facebook Messenger screen.
- Select Secret in the top right corner.
- Search for the person you'd like to message in secret.
- Tap the timer icon in the text box to choose when messages disappear.
Can you make text messages private?
Go to Settings > Notifications and scroll down until you find Messages. In the Messages section scroll down to Show Previews. By default this will be set to Always. Tap on that and choose: Never.Jan 5, 2018
How do you send a hidden text on iPhone?
- Type the message you want to send like you normally would in the Messages app.
- Tap and hold the blue arrow in the text field until the "Send with effect" screen opens.
- Select the INVISIBLE INK option then tap the blue arrow to send the message.
