How do I join a computer to a domain remotely?

Each computer that works as a federation server must be joined to a domain.Federation server proxies can be joined to a domain.

If the Web server is only hosting claims-aware applications, you don't have to join it.

The minimum requirement to complete this procedure is membership in Administrators on the local computer.The appropriate accounts and group memberships can be reviewed.

Under Member, type the name of the domain that you wish this computer to join, and then click OK.
