How do you clean tarnished brushed nickel?
Remove dirt from the faucet's surface by wiping it down with clean water and a soft piece of cloth. To clean the base of the finish, use a cotton ball sprayed with glass cleaner.Make sure the glass cleaner does not contain alcohol or ammonia.
A soft cloth is sprayed with a mixture of water and vinegar. To remove built up dirt, use the cloth to scrub away heavy water stains on the nickel finish.
After cleaning the finish with a glass cleaner, use a damp cloth to rinse it.If you have to rinse out the cloth to rid it of the leftover cleanser, you can do it twice. The finish should be dry with a soft cloth.
Spread a layer of paste wax over the finishs to return the shine. It takes about four weeks for waxing to happen.Spread the wax using a soft dry cloth and work it over the nickel in a small circular motion. After buffing it to a shine, use a dry soft cloth.
