I've used JB Weld on PLA parts. The glue joint will debond from the part before you break the part, but I haven't had anything all apart yet. I make sure both surfaces are well covered with the epoxy before clamping them together.2 ene 2016
Does plastic glue work on PLA?
PLA can be glued with hot-melt adhesive; the only thing we have to take into account is that from 60-70 ºC the plastic begins to soften, so we have to be careful not to melt the areas of the pieces that we are going to bond.
Can you glue acrylic to PLA?
I'd say Epoxy is your best bet. It'll have an elastic modulus similar to both of those materials, so it won't tend to peel off. Acrylic is usually a little less stiff, but PLA is a little more stiff. Having something halfway between the two will make the mechanical properties of the bond a little more favorable.
Can Americans join the PLA?
There is no legal obstacle for you to join PLA. Yes there is a background check, but a regular person should not have trouble with it. But there is hardly any precedence. In the entire history of PRC (since 1949), citizenships were granted to less than 20 thousand foreign-born people.
Can you use E6000 on 3D prints?
UPDATE: after asking members of our local 3D Printing Meetup what glue they like, I've now settled on E6000, which glues slightly rough surfaces, sets up in about an hour, doesn't discolor the plastic like Super Glue can, dries clear unlike Gorilla glue, and makes a strong, slightly flexible bond.28 sept 2017
