This is extremely corrosive stuff and could eat through your paintwork in no time. I'd stick with the muck off if I were you. I'd advise against using wonder wheels on your car too - the acid eventually eats through the lacquer making your wheels dull and eventually getting down to the metal leading to corrosion.
