Study is singular, “I study English everyday”. Studies is plural, “My language studies are going well”.
Which is correct How is or how are?
The first (using "are") is correct, and the second (using "is") is not. As others have mentioned, you shouldn't say "How is the wife and kid(s)." It's neither idiomatic, nor generally considered grammatical in standard English.
Which is correct there is or there are?
The choice between the phrases there is and there are at the beginning of a sentence is determined by the noun that follows it. Use there is when the noun is singular (“There is a cat”). Use there are when the noun is plural (“There are two cats”).
What is the difference between how is you and how are you?
First things first there is no word in English like “How's you". It's completely wrong because that means “how is you" and we don't use “is" with you, rather we use “are" which is perfect according to the rules of English Grammar. So the correct sentence will be “How are you?”
Which is correct any is or any are?
For uncountable nouns, use “any” after the interrogative “is”, and for plural countable nouns use “any” after “are”. Remember: Do not use “any” with singular countable nouns. Any is always used in a negative sense.
