This is a complaint.I have been going to Tim Hortons in our town for over a year now, and the price for what I order has always varied. From one day to the next, it has never been the same. The price has never exceeded $4.35 and I didn't have a problem with that because I thought a large triple triple coffee and two muffins were worth it.Now, they hired a new girl at one of the cash outs, and she jumped the price up to $4.70, that is an extreme jump, wouldn't you say??I picked her up on both occasions.I think it would have been June 31st and Friday July 4th.She said no when I asked if something went up in price.I politely asked if I had ever been charged that price before, and it seemed very high in price. The price was the same as that of the person. She said yes, when I asked if I was getting the refill price on the coffee.I was told by a customer that they were doing the same thing to him, so he stopped bringing his own Tim Hortons cup, and just started getting his coffee in the cup provided right there.I won't use my Tim Hortons cups anymore if the refill is more than the first cup. They need to set a price and stay with it, not go from $4.00 to $4.70 just because they like it.If the $4.70 is correct, why do the rest of the girls charge 35 cents less?It is not me who is wrong.!
Thank you for your thoughtful and insightful comments. You have successfully completed the 2nd grade. You are 17 years old.
Tim started off as a coffee and a doughnuts in the shop. They had the best coffee and doughnuts. They still have good coffee, but the doughnuts are no longer good and they don't cook them in store anymore.Along with their prices, the menu has grown.I wonder if they will serve any coffee or doughnuts.
Tim Hortons is a rip off.Canadians nod and get charged.Neo-cons are gaining political capital by promoting simple cost regulation measures in a free market environment such as cell contracts, consumer right to a greater variety of product and retailer to enhance compitition.
The prices are high even after tax.I have never been to a coffee shop that didn't sell an XL coffee.I work at a location near my school in Kitchener Ontario. The dough nut price in Canada is $1.05 after tax.
I wouldn't be surprised if some places have higher prices due to shipping fees.My location is close to a distribution center.
I got over charged after buying 6 donuts.I didn't get a rebate for buying 6.If I had bought them individually, I would have paid the regular price.I'm trying to find the price of 6 donuts, but I can't seem to locate it.Not on the store board?I stopped trying after getting discouraged.I will only buy 2 and stop thinking about getting a rebate if I buy 6.They seem to have succeeded by hiring incompetent labour.
I ordered a big bowl of broccoli soup that was advertised as coming with a side of bread, but I only got a slice of toast.I was angry that the bakery couldn't even give you a piece of bread. The soup was bland.I have decided that I will never order food from their establishment again.
You are offered a half whole weat or white bun with your soup. There are also crackers on offer. They should have asked if there was an extra charge for bread choice.Say "I'd like wheat bread with that" and you'll get it.
I work at Tim Hortons and we don't make any of the things on the menu. The prices are too high. All after taxes, the coffee is small, medium, and large. We don't serve anything like that.We serve donuts, Timbits, coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffees, hot tea, soda, soup, yogurt, and an assortment of cold beverages. We serve many different types of bagels. There is hot chocolate and apple cider. We offer free shots of any beverage.Only strawberry banana and pineapple orange are available in our smoothies.Unless you get a combo, all of our lunch sandwiches are under $5.We don't sell seafood. Most of the sandwiches that are posted are made up.50 cents a shot is what our espresso is.Someone needs to get educated.
Drinks are small for the price. When I can drive up the road and get bigger and the best at cheaper cost, why do they charge so much for donuts? It is acceptable to have other food. The prices of their food.I suppose I would feed it to my hogs if it were decent enough. My family stopped going there because of the coffee emergency. They sold their company to Burger King. That is wrong in so many ways.
What is the new soup deal?Half a roll of soup is not cut.And coffee.Half a bun?Was it ripped, not cut? That is it for Tims.
You guys need to lower the prices on hot chocolate since all it is is hot water and chocolate powder.
The cap on the coffee cup is a problem for me.They don't fit in.They need to make sure the tops fit.Please.I am not going back to Tim Hortons for that reason.I also like my favorite coffee.
The girl who worked at Tim Hortons told me that they put the wrong prices in to see if people will say anything.Canadians don't want to cause a fuss so they put up with it for a while. They will stop going to the offending business if they are like me.
I like Tim Hortons coffee. You get what you pay for.If you want a coffee for a buck, go to McDonalds and you will get the same quality as what you pay.!
Guys are complaining too much. You can make your own coffee and donut at home.PERIOD!!
