Good tea is more than just hot to drink. It's a beverage that is steeped in romance and ritual, and has a history filled with everything from quiet ceremonial tradition to colonial imperialism.
Step 1: Start by the water.
Water is the second most important ingredient.Your tea will be bad to drink and smell if you have off tastes in your water. The kettle should be filled with fresh, cold water.A great cup of tea starts with water that is not tap water.Don't use distilled water or previously-boiled water. The tea will taste better with more oxygen in the water.
Step 2: Put the kettle in and turn it on.
You can use a stovetop tea kettle if you don't have an electric kettle.
Step 3: The water should be brought to a boil.
Wait until the tea kettle is turned off.Wait for the water to cool off. Some tea is steeped in water that is slightly cooler than others.Try different things with your tea to find the best one.
Step 4: Put the cup in the water.
Step 5: The tea bag should be placed into the cup.
If you use loose tea, spoon it in a cup.If you want to use the same amount of tea, you can use a tea ball.Milk can be added into the cup. Some people think adding milk before the water is hot is the best way to brew tea.
Step 6: Put water in it.
Take the water from the kettle and put it in the cup.If you want to add milk, leave room for it.
Step 7: Allow it to steep.
Tea should be steeped for three to five minutes depending on the type of tea you are making and the recommended brew time.About a minute for green tea.Three to six minutes for black tea.Six to eight minutes for herbal teas.If you like stronger tea, add more tea instead of steeping longer.
Step 8: The tea bag needs to be removed.
You can either discard it or recycle it.Place a spoon of sugar or honey into the cup and stir thoroughly.
Step 9: Enjoy the tea that is in the cup at a leisurely pace.
Adding some biscuits or a piece of cake to your tea is a possibility.
