How To Access Disk Management in Windows

You can learn how to use the Disk Management tool in Windows 10.The Disk Management tool can be used to format or partition a drive.

Step 1: The start is open.

The Windows logo can be found in the lower- left corner.This opens the Start menu.

Step 2: There is a control panel.

You can find all the apps that match what you type.

Step 3: You can click on the Control Panel icon.

The app has an icon that looks like a blue panel with graphs and controls on it.

Step 4: Click System and Security.

The Control Panel has it's first option.It is next to an icon that looks like a shield.

Step 5: Click Administrative Tools.

There is a green text at the bottom of the menu.There is an icon that looks like a screen in front of a gear.

Step 6: You can double-click computer management.

The "Administrative Tools" menu has it near the top.It's next to a computer screen.

Step 7: You can click Disk Management.

There is a sidebar to the right.The drives on your computer are listed under the "Volume" field in the center pane of the Computer Management window.You can display a drop-down menu with additional drive options by right-clicking a drive.You can format, extend, shrink, or change the drive's path.
