You can learn how to add a location to a photo when you use Windows or macOS.It is not possible to add your location to individual photos, but you can add it to an album.
Step 1: In a web browser, go to https://photos.google.com.
Click to sign in if you are not already signed in.
Step 2: The photos can be added to the album.
Click the circle at the top- left corner if you want to select a photo.When the circle fills in with a blue and white check mark, you know the photo is selected.
Step 3: You can click +.
The blue bar is near the top-right corner of the screen.A menu will expand.
Step 4: Pick the album.
Step 5: Click the new album to open it.
It is the first option in the window.
Step 6: Pick a name for the album.
The album name should be typed into the field.
Step 7: You can click on the location icon.
At the top-right corner of the screen, it appears as if it is upside-down.A menu will expand.
Step 8: Click on the location.
Step 9: You can choose a location.
Either type something into the search box or click one of the suggested options.A list of matching results will appear when you type.The location will appear at the top of the album when you make your selection.
Step 10: Click the check mark.
There is a blue bar at the top left corner of the screen.You can save your location to the album.
Step 11: Go to a website with a web browser.
Click to sign in if you haven't already done so.
Step 12: Click the albums you want to view.
The left column has two squares that overlap.
Step 13: You can click on the album.
You should see what's in the album.
Step 14: Click on it.
There is a window at the top right corner.A menu will expand.
Step 15: Click the album you want to modify.
There will be more menu items.
Step 16: Click on the location.
Step 17: You can choose a location.
If you want to type something into the search box, click one of the suggested options.A list of matching results will appear when you type.The location will appear at the top of the album when you make your selection.
Step 18: Click the check mark.
There is a blue bar at the top left corner of the screen.Your location is in the album.
