How to apply glitter to plastic without it falling off, and how to make ornaments using clear plastic bulbs.

Our tree is going to be full of stars as this point in time, because we have been making a lot of Christmas ornaments these last few weeks.

I would like to show you how to make intense glitter stars and how I keep that glitter from falling off when I touch them.

If you want to make these stars, you need to follow the instructions in the video on making the star shapes.

You will need glue, an ear bud, and a paint brush.Glue all over your star with these. When you sprinkle the glitter on the paper, the excess can be funneled back into the bottle.

Sprinkle with glitter.I don't let my kids use loose glitter at the moment as they are a little too "wild" with it and glitter glue pens are theirs and you can see how those look on glitter stars here too!

For the trick!Once your star is dry, tap off the excess glitter and add a layer of watered down school glue with a paint brush.I use school glue instead of modge podge.Let it dry.

This can be used for anything you want to add glitter to, just seal it and you are good to go!

I took a picture before and after. The left and right are not the same. You can see the left if it's dimmer in shine, but I can't tell them apart on the tree. One of them gave me glitter fingers.

Thank you for the tip.I will try it tomorrow.I have a large metal flower that I want to shine in the sun.I hope it will hold up outside.

I love the spread of glitter around the house as it adds a touch of magic and lifts the spirits of those around.

Great idea!Keep away from the kids.I don't use it in my house. My motto is to use what you have.3

When the glitter fell off, I hated it.I think clear nail polish would work well.
