How To Bake Hot Dogs

It's not necessary to have a campfire or stove top to cook hot dogs.It's easy to bake them at home.Hot dogs can be baked on a baking sheet or in hot dog buns in a pan.Either way you bake your hot dogs, make sure you have an assortment of your favorite topping ready to top them off.

Step 1: Put the baking sheet in the oven.

The oven should be set to 400F.Spread the hot dogs so they don't touch the baking sheet.Use a second sheet if you can't fit all the hot dogs on one sheet.

Step 2: Use a knife to slice the hot dogs.

Attach the knife to the hot dogs.Go from one end of the hot dog to the other.

Step 3: The hot dogs need to be put in the oven.

The oven should be set to 350F.The aluminum foil needs to come up the sides of the pan.You should use a pan that is large enough to hold all the hot dogs.Line two baking pans if you don't have a big one.

Step 6: There are hot dog buns in the lined baking pan.

The hot dog buns should be in the pan.The pan should be filled completely with a single layer of hot dog buns.If you want to bake hot dogs, use one hot dog bun.Before putting the hot dog buns in the baking pan, you should coat the insides of them with butter or mayonnaise.

Step 7: You can put your favorite topping on the buns with hot dogs.

Place a hot dog in a bun.Add condiments like mustard, cheese, onions, chili and relish.The hot dogs are put in the buns.

Step 8: Put the pan in the oven for 45 minutes and cover it with aluminum foil.

Wrap the foil around the pan to keep it in the oven.For 45 minutes, set a timer.Remove the pan from the oven after 45 minutes.The hot dog buns should be slightly charred.

Step 9: The hot dogs will be served.

Carefully transfer the hot dogs from the pan to the plate.If you want to eat the hot dogs with your hands, use a fork and knife.

Step 10: Prepare a baking sheet by preheating your oven.

The broil setting is on the oven's temperature knob.If you put your hot dogs on a baking sheet, they'll be in a single layer.The hot dogs shouldn't be touching each other.

Step 11: Put the hot dogs in the oven.

The top rack of the oven is where the baking sheet should be placed.For 4 minutes, set a timer.

Step 12: broil the hot dogs for 4 more minutes.

To flip the hot dogs, use an oven mitt to pull out the baking sheet.The hot dogs should be put back on the top rack of the oven.

Step 13: Take the hot dogs out of the oven.

Carefully transfer the hot dogs to the plate.Put the hot dogs in buns and serve them.
