Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and living apart from Him means that we are dead in our sins.He doesn't promise to make our lives easy if we're born-again.If you understand what Christ did for you and how it makes it all worth it, you will not be torn apart from Him.He promises that when we die, we will be in heaven with Him.How can one be made right with God and escape the Judgement to come, and gain the blessings of God in Christ?
Step 1: Understand that you are sinners.
According to the Bible, all of us have fallen short of God's standards.Have you taken?Lied? Is it a crime to be Cheated?God's name was taken in vain.Do you have bad thoughts? No one is righteous according to the Bible.Ps.We have failed to meet God's standards. Our righteous actions are like rags before God according to the Bible. If you want to be good, you need to obey and honor God, otherwise you won't be in God's presence.Understanding that you are bankrupt and have broken God's commands is the first step to realizing you need forgiveness.Salvation can only be done by grace and faith. It can't be earned. You can see it inEphesians 2:8-9.
Step 2: Ask God to forgive your sins and give you a new heart with new desires.
Acts 2:38, 18:8 and 22:16 tell you how to act on that prayer.God's purpose for making us is to show mercy, grace, and loving kindness. Our purpose is to have fun with God.Embracing sin or trying to get better by yourself is not a good idea.We think that God will reward us for doing good things if we do bad things.Without God's help, purity and righteousness are impossible.Jesus Christ was sent to die for our sins.Every wrong thing we have done or will ever do cost His life.He made a way for us to know Him by covering our sins with grace on the cross.
Step 3: God can dismiss your case in Jesus Christ.
Allow yourself to be freed from your sins.A 180 degree turn from doing sin is repentance.God's law is broken by sin.Repentance isn't just being sorry or guilty for sin, but it's turning away from it.As long as you ask for forgiveness, God doesn't accept repentance.Unless you really don't want to live wickedly anymore, you will not have your sins forgiven. You may turn from your sins and desire nothing but God's righteousness, if you cry out to God.Jesus paid the fine you couldn't pay.The things that crucified your Savior are the very sins you committed.God will help you overcome your weaknesses.
Step 4: Ask God to show you how to live in His way if youAcknowledge God's Power to do this incredible thing.
The Bible is a love letter to the world.repentance and trust in Jesus Christ will save us from sin's condemnation. You will be condemned to Hell if you don't believe that God is telling the truth, because you never had your sins forgiven and were born-again.We are sinners before we come to Christ. We need to be made a child of virtue.Only the finished work of Christ on the cross can give us that.
Step 5: Share the good news of salvation.
If you are born again, you will want to tell others about the forgiveness available in Christ and that they can be made right with God before they die.I will obey what He ordered all Christians to do if I love him.
Step 6: Ask God to help you live your way and read your Bible.
The promises are contained in the Bible.Trust what God says is true.He will fulfill his promises to you as he works in your inner-being and daily life. Are you growing in the fruit of the spirit?See Galatians 5:22-23.
Step 7: Be happy.
All of heaven is overjoyed when someone is saved. You can be saved if you are thankful for God's mercy, grace and loving kindness. It becomes "amazing grace"!
