Many people suggest cooking a hot dog in the microwave, but this results in very even cooking of the dog, so that it splits and/or dries out in spots. Not good. The method results in a good hot dog every time.
Step 1: Take a fork and stick it into one or two hot dogs about a quarter of the way from the end, so that the fork's handle lies parallel to the hot dog.
The handle is longer than the fork.
Step 2: The hot dog shouldn't be put in a microwave safe because it's taller than the fork.
Step 3: To cover the hot dog, fill the glass with cold water.
Since the hot dog out of the fridge will also be cold, it is important that the water is cold so that it doesn't boil early.
Step 4: Put the glass in the microwave.
The fork must not come in contact with any part of the microwave or it could spark.Make sure the fork doesn't touch any part of the microwave while it's turning, if it has a turn table. The point of the fork in a hot dog is to hold the hot dogs under the water so that they don't get cooked and exposed to microwaves. If you put a metal fork in the microwave, it won't hurt it.If you prevent the fork from touching the side of the microwave, it will be safe.
Step 5: For two hot dogs to cook in three minutes.
The strength of your microwave should be adjusted. The hot dog is done when the water is boiling.
Step 6: The glass will be hot if you remove it from the microwave.
