Adding a hair wrap is an easy way to add some temporary fun to your hair. You just need long hair, floss, and an elastic band. The braid can stay in for as long as you want, depending on how you secure it.Get some thread and braid!
Step 1: There is a man named Comb.
Decide where you want the braid. To section off a neat square, use a comb. The top of the braid should be positioned a few centimeters away from you.
Step 2: Tie the rest of your hair back.
If it is easier for you, you can also use a hair band.It will be easier to concentrate on your braid. It is a good idea to secure your sectioned hair with bobby pins as you do this.
Step 3: There is a braid.
If you divide it into 3 sections, cross the middle section over the right section, and repeat to the end.Attach with hair gel.A hair elastic can be used to secure the braid.
Step 4: An extra hair elastic can be used to make your braid last longer.
If you want your braid to last a few months, you need to tie an extra hair elastic from the top of the plait. If you hold the braid against your head, it will stick up in the air.Don't use the hair elastic if you only want to keep it short.
Step 5: The strands of floss should be held by their ends.
The ends can be passed through the hair above the elastic or the top of the plait.Pull them through until the same length of thread hangs on each side. The length of your hair depends on how long it is.Floss should be used so that it extends past your own hair.
Step 6: Next to your braid, count six strands.
Next to your plait, you should have 6 strands of thread.Select 2 colors that will make a striped effect, pull them to the left of the plait, and smooth the other 4 down next to it.
Step 7: The threads should be braided.
You can see strand A on the left, strand B in the middle, and the plait with the rest of the thread right if you hold them.Bring the plait back to the middle by passing B over it.Then, pass A underneath B, then over the plait, and into the middle position.Next, pass B over the plait and into the middle position.Continue until you reach the end of your hair. The thread must be wrapped tightly so that it doesn't fall across the plait. You can either stop braiding at the end of your hair or keep the 4 unused strands on the right hand side.
Step 8: If you want, add beads to the end.
If you want to add beads, slip them over the end of the braid. At the bottom of the braid, tie an overhand knot.Make sure it's big enough that the beads don't fall off.
Step 9: The excess thread should be cut off.
Don't cut off any hair when you're done with the thread. If you have enough thread left, you can use it for a craft project.
Step 10: Use scissors to cut off the thread's knot.
Take a pair of scissors and cut off the braid. The thread will fall away from the plait.Pull the thread away from the top of the hair if you want to cut off the elastic.
Step 11: The thread should be separated.
You will need to separate the different bits of thread when undoing the braid.Once the strands of thread are separated, you can begin undoing the braid.Continue until the braid is completely undone.
Step 12: You should wash your hair.
If your hair has been under the thread for more than a few weeks, this is important. It's a good idea to comb out your hair before unbraiding it.You should wash, condition and dry your hair.
