How To Change a Guest Account to an Administrator in Windows

Full access to the software and files on the host computer can be granted to administrators by changing guest accounts on Windows.To change the account's access privileges, you will need to access the Windows Control Panel and enable the Guest account from the "User Accounts" section.The guest account function has been removed with the release of Windows 10.If you grant Administrator privileges to a guest, make sure to remove sensitive information.

Step 1: An Administrator account is required to sign into your computer.

Administrator is the first account created on a computer.If you only have one account, it's the Administrator account.Administrator privileges are needed to make changes to User Account Controls.

Step 2: Select the Control Panel from the menu if you press Win+X.

The Control Panel has settings for your computer.The Control Panel can be selected from the start menu in Windows 7.

Step 3: From the options, click on "User Accounts and Family Safety".

You can take this to the User Accounts control panel page.

Step 4: Click on the link to remove user accounts.

There is a link under the "User Accounts" heading.

Step 5: Click on the account you want to use.

If you want to enable the feature, you will have to go to a guest account screen on your computer.

Step 6: Press the button to turn on.

After logging out or restarting your computer, the Guest account can be accessed from the login screen.
