How To Change Mouse Settings in Windows 8

Simple controls can be used to change your mouse settings in Windows 8.

Step 1: To type in "Mouse", open the Start menu.

The "Mouse" option can be found in the top left corner of the screen.

Step 2: If you want the double-click speed to be between "Slow" and "Fast", you have to move the cursor.

The folder on the right is where you can test the speed.You can turn on the "Click lock" from here if you invert the primary and secondary buttons.

Step 3: Click on the "Pointers" tab and choose the type of pointers you want.

You can see a model for each type on the right.

Step 4: Click on the "Pointer Options" tab to choose a Pointer speed.

From this screen, you can add trails, show location, and other options.

Step 5: Go to the "Wheel" tab.

You can choose "One screen at a time" for how much each wheel scrolls down.To apply all changes, click "Apply".
