Step 1: The line should be prepared.

Step 2: The trimmer's engine needs to be turned off.
Make sure it is cooled down.Accidents will be prevented by this.
Step 3: The retaining cap needs to be removed from the trimmer head.
This will probably involve either removing it, pressing one or multiple tabs, or a combination of the two.Some models have different ways to remove the spool.If you are having trouble figuring it out, contact the manufacturer of your trimmer.
Step 4: The starter hole is located in the spool.
Wind in the direction of the arrows when you insert the tip of your trimmer line.To prevent jams later on, wrap the line in neat rows.If there is less than 6” of line remaining, snap it into the retainer on the spool to hold it in place.
Step 5: Place the retainer on the outside of the head.
The trimmer head should be replaced with the spool.Pull the retainer through the slot to make sure it is feeding properly.Remove the retaining cap.

Step 10: The lines should be removed from the retainers.
They can be Threaded through the eyelets on the outside of the trimmer head.Pull the lines through the slot to make sure they are feeding properly.Attach the retaining cap again.

Step 13: Align the arrows with the eyelets by rotating the cap.
When you look through the eyelets, you should be able to see light.
Step 14: The end of the trimmer line needs to be Threaded.
It should be on the other side of the trimmer head.Pull the ends together to make both sides even.The head must be turned clockwise until the line is exposed.
