How To Change Windows Logon Screen

You can learn how to change the image on the Windows login screen.If you're using Windows 10, you can change the image byggling a simple switch and selecting a background for the lock screen.If you're using Windows 8.1, you can change the lock screen background, but not the image of the initial login screen.

Step 1: You can open the Start menu.

You can either click the Windows logo in the bottom- left corner of the screen or press the Win key.

Step 2: Click on the settings.

There is a gear icon near the Start menu.

Step 3: Click to personalize.

Step 4: Click the lock screen.

There is a tab on the left side of the window.Although the majority of settings on this screen are for the lock screen, you can make it so that the same background image appears on both screens.

Step 5: There is a picture on the "Background" menu.

The image of your background is below the drop-down menu.You can choose an image from your computer to appear on the lock screen and sign-in screen.

Step 6: Click to go to the next page.

The sample photos are in the middle of the screen.If you don't want to use your own photos, you can use one of the samples.

Step 7: Click the picture you want to choose.

A high-resolution photo will look better on the lock screen than a low resolution one, but this can be any photo on your computer.

Step 8: The sign-in screen has a "show lock screen background picture" switch on it.

You might have to scroll down to see this option.When you log in, you will see the image you selected on the lock screen.You can change your account photo, which appears on the lock screen, by clicking and choosing an option under "create your picture."

Step 9: To open the Charms menu, press Win+C.

You can do this by hovering the mouse over the screen's top right corner.You can change the background of the lock screen, which appears before you enter your login information, but it's not possible to alter the image that appears in the login screen.You can use this method to change the background of the lock screen.

Step 10: Click on the settings you want to modify.

The button is at the bottom of the Charms Bar.

Step 11: Click on the settings you want to change.

This option can be found in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 12: Click on the Personalize tab.

The left panel has it.

Step 13: The lock screen has a tab.

It is near the Personalize window.

Step 14: Click to go to the next page.

There is a row of photos in the middle of the page.Clicking on one of the demo photos will set it as your PC's lock screen.

Step 15: You can select an image.
